pre-stats exam

21st August 2008 , Thursday


Nothing much about today.
Studied stats today.
Was practising the questions and also studying on the theory parts.
After studying it today. Stats isnt that easy as i thought.
The theory part are sometimes kind of confusing.
But theory part will determine either i am able to get A for stats.

I am more or less done with it.
And i am fully prepared for the very last paper of this semester at 4pm.
And my holiday will start exactly 6pm sharp.

Its a 400m run , with 100m left.
I am sprinting towards the finish line~


Something to add to my motivation.
I was jubilant when i received an email from the number 1 internet radio station in UK.
I applied to be an internet radio DJ in UK.
The listeners there are around 200 to 400.
I send in my resume with a 30seconds dj clip last week.
and they sent me an email today notifing me that i am recruited.
I was like.. OMG?!?!?!?
Cos i was just applying to play play , to see whether i am that lucky..
and i guess lady luck is on my side? haha.

Furthermore , there isnt any singaporean DJs in the history book of that radio site before.
So if i join , i am the FIRST!

But i am still thinking whether i am able to commit myself there.
I have 2 days to consider and give them a reply.
I will think about it again , after i finish the " 400m race " (:

Despite all the fun, I admit I am homesick. A common cycle one will go through in a different environment '4H': Honeymoon-Homesick-Hate-Homesweethome. Missing my mum alot. A scene today when i passed by a temple, saw an old lady, probably in her 60s. Could barely find a black hair on her, could say all white. Me and my friend, both of us were looking around for directions. Happen to met her, showed a benevolence face with wrinkles and of about 150 height. Somehow somewhere i could find a resemblance of my mum. I looked at her closely, and the thought of that mother would aged like her one day killed my strong front that i have to put. I was secretly tearing out of nowhere. She just resemble my mum alot, not very much on the look but the way she talk to us and how nice she was. Everyone ages, many know this but dont understand and i dont too. We can do all we want in life but there is a time limit to filal piety. I just think i am not a good enough son.

We had once upon a time...

Once upon a time, There was a village where some humans are equipped with wings and unfortunately some do not. There was an ordinary little boy who is one of the unfortunate ones without the wings, he was playing in the backyard of his village, he was running around with butterflies. Running after those butterflies, made him ran further and further from his village, he soon discovered a cliff. The little boy was curious what lies at the bottom of the cliff, as he went closer to the edge of the cliff, he then soon realised it is a very deep end, where he could hardly see any visible sights of ground. Then came a gentle female voice that seems to come from the bottom of the cliff, "Hello, you are? Wanna be friends?" The little boy made friends with the anonymous voice from the bottom of the cliff and came by often to the cliff to chat with her. Decision.

A dream that may turn into reality. Nothing much today, Same old routine at home. However, another big decision i have to make. About the Singapore Youth Flying Club. It all started with my friend, shawn. I have not played habbo for sometime, around two months. Also, i have not keep in touch with my habbo friends, whatevers clique since January until last week. But due to my curiosity i went back to habbosoup to help and engage myself in habbo everyday for at least 10 mins per day. Then, on saturday, 4th April, i happen to met one of my friend in the whatevers clique, shawn. He suddenly talked about PPL. Then engaged me to know more about it. He then told me SYFC - Singapore Youth Flying Club, that he is going there to apply for flying application. After he said that, i recalled 2 years back, my maths tuition teacher did told me about the youth flying club and urged me to join.
