Batam!


So close yet so far.
Some things, we thought we have it.
But.. did we?


Today was.. WOW, really good.
Out with the Mediacorp crew on a trip the whole day to batam for shoots on an investment show call "Cents & Sensibilities" particularly on Beachfront Property, whether people should invest on beachfront property.

Had a really long day, travel here and there, there and here. The glazing sun was kind to us today, and glad there was no rain as we needed the shots and sunset. Also, this is the first ever time that I got on to the ground of Batam island! Particularly, I got to say this, we were treated really good, really well. First, we got to enjoy this VIP lounge at the Ferry Terminal before boarding, also we had a private yacht that is very well furnished and i was awed by it. We had great lunch and dinner, really good food. There was a chaffeur that was with us the whole day, driving us around and etc.

Listening to all these, the most amazing thing and you may want to look at this too (if there is anyone reading my blog), The villa there is 3,000 square feet, 3 storeys fully furnished and that cost just $420,000 SGD. On top of that, there is a privilege where you get to enjoy the private yacht service! It just takes 30 mins to get from Ferry terminal to Batam.

Overall, enjoyed the whole day, really a good day. Love it!

Despite all the fun, I admit I am homesick. A common cycle one will go through in a different environment '4H': Honeymoon-Homesick-Hate-Homesweethome. Missing my mum alot. A scene today when i passed by a temple, saw an old lady, probably in her 60s. Could barely find a black hair on her, could say all white. Me and my friend, both of us were looking around for directions. Happen to met her, showed a benevolence face with wrinkles and of about 150 height. Somehow somewhere i could find a resemblance of my mum. I looked at her closely, and the thought of that mother would aged like her one day killed my strong front that i have to put. I was secretly tearing out of nowhere. She just resemble my mum alot, not very much on the look but the way she talk to us and how nice she was. We had once upon a time...

Once upon a time, There was a village where some humans are equipped with wings and unfortunately some do not. There was an ordinary little boy who is one of the unfortunate ones without the wings, he was playing in the backyard of his village, he was running around with butterflies. Running after those butterflies, made him ran further and further from his village, he soon discovered a cliff. The little boy was curious what lies at the bottom of the cliff, as he went closer to the edge of the cliff, he then soon realised it is a very deep end, where he could hardly see any visible sights of ground. Then came a gentle female voice that seems to come from the bottom of the cliff, "Hello, you are? Wanna be friends?" The little boy made friends with the anonymous voice from the bottom of the cliff and came by often to the cliff to chat with her. Decision.

A dream that may turn into reality. Nothing much today, Same old routine at home. However, another big decision i have to make. About the Singapore Youth Flying Club. It all started with my friend, shawn. I have not played habbo for sometime, around two months. Also, i have not keep in touch with my habbo friends, whatevers clique since January until last week. But due to my curiosity i went back to habbosoup to help and engage myself in habbo everyday for at least 10 mins per day. Then, on saturday, 4th April, i happen to met one of my friend in the whatevers clique, shawn. He suddenly talked about PPL. Then engaged me to know more about it. He then told me SYFC - Singapore Youth Flying Club, that he is going there to apply for flying application. After he said that, i recalled 2 years back, my maths tuition teacher did told me about the youth flying club and urged me to join.
