Eat.Pray.Love



A little story of my previous weekend.
Out to the town of daejeon and watched a movie there along too. A terrific movie that made me talking about it these 2 days - Eat.Pray.Love. A film by julia roberts, the story is based on an inspiring real book. How troubled a person was, and decided to give its life a breather, its amazing how her life changed along the way by discovering different aspects in life. After watching this movie, it just encourages you to get out and live a story of your own and live a different life that others would not. Cheers, Good movie.



I was happy to find a italian restaurant here in daejeon for dinner on that day. It isnt pricey, its about $15 for a plate of seafood risotto. I miss risotto. I also had house wine along with it hahaha. Many koreans were giving me the stare, like as i havent reach to a legal age yet. haha.

I have been sticking here for more than a month now and really missing home. Felt that i have had enough here. I may be wrong, i am looking forward for my next trip out of daejeon. During this 1 month, i discovered a difference in culture, manners and etc of koreans vs singaporeans. But i am too tired to share today. I guess i will do it the next time.

Dream, Episode 1.

Words as honourable as it is sometimes may not be the actual truth of what we think subconciously, but dream does reflect the honest feeling of how we are feeling about ourselves and life. Last night, I had a dream on elevator. I was in it with my sister, we were taking it back to our storey.. However the elevator did not get us on to the indicated floor which we wanted and even got us over the limit of the building of 25th floor. The block was having construction on lift as it is increasing the level of storeys hence the elevator eventually reach on to the wrong floor at 40+ floor. After then, we were stuck there for awhile, panicing if we have to get out of the elevator and slowly climb the ladder down. But after then was pushed down by one of the contractor all the way to ground floor. This is the 10% of the dream that I could remember. Once upon a time in Korea

Once upon a time, A teenager, 18 year old boy made a dream, a really long dream. He entered the dreamland in the early september of 2010. His mission was to experience a student life without friends by his side supporting him because he thought he will be left alone without all his friends who has been supporting him for the 3 years in poly. Instead, he met 2 comrades in the first month, these 2 have been a pillar of strength for him. Phrasing it again, these 2 are the best mates he ever had in his life. One is an american, another an african. and of cos with the boy, an asian. The widest spread of combination one ever can have. Among anywhere else in the world, these 3 indifferent people with different ethnicity, culture, values and belief met in a country call korea. Comrades Forever

These memories are too much for me to hold, it was a hard decision. Sorry, but i promise I will be there again. Ever since december 22 last year when i landed my feet in singapore from korea. I told myself i will be back in 2011. March 2011 I nearly made a move because my family wanted to go but mum chose taiwan in the end. July and August was an agony. Was pondering and planning hard. After much considerations and discussions with family, friends as well as topher and daniel, came into a conclusion that I will be keeping the money instead. Many thoughts, I wanted to go real bad because the life and moments i had there was unforgettable. Topher was like a little daddy there for me, and daniel was a elder brother where both assured me that I will not be lonely there.
