Summary of My 1st Year Summer, Back to School!

My only happening event this holiday is probably just this camp.
Depends on how you define happening. In a social context I only have 1.
But below is a list of my definition. I feel accomplished this summer!

1. Social Science Camp 2014, glad to be a facilitator and have fun with my freshies.
2. I have also obtained my driving licence photocard! Yay!
3. Spent more time with my friends and Sheryl.
4. Get to know my residential neighbours more
5. Bringing meimei out more often
6. Scholarship application/interviews (Result TBC)
7. HDB BTO Application (Result TBC)
8. Persuaded Sheryl to go back on stage and sing again!
9. Sailing CSP
10. Tried out a crazy diet in June (Raw veg and boiled chicken)
11. Most impt of all! A korea trip with Sheryl :D

Well, I did what I aimed this summer, and I have no regrets. I liked how simple my life is now except the fact that I am still engaged with part time job as I was in my poly years.

I have 5 tuition sessions every week and 3 upcoming statistics tutoring for my school. That will be counted as 8 sessions of tutoring to do every week. Sounds insane but I wouldn't label it as busy because I hate the word busy. It is so cliché, people are using it every single day, "Sorry, I am busy." Make time for someone you care. I have been doing this for the past 3 years - having dinner with my girlfriend everyday and spending the full weekend with her.

Nothing similar but another thought...
Some people say aim high and its ok not to achieve it.
But whats the point of aiming high? Personal achievement? Do you really have such a huge ego to fulfil?

I say.. Be contented. Aim for what u want and get it. Thats what matters. If not, then you are just aiming for.. nothing. Sorry, but I define success and achievement differently. Very differently.
