2 days to London - Cambridge

Image
2 more days to my summer journey in UK. The news came in March from SMU that I am chosen to go to Cambridge University for a term summer exchange in the month of July. I was on clouds nine upon receiving the email. It felt surreal and exciting. This would be my first time in England. The thought of studying in one of the best universities in the world, visiting Manchester and reliving those exchange moments once again. As I collect my heart and emotions for this trip, I just feel that I couldnt set it on the right note. Not sure if the trip is too short, uncertainty over the trip, financial concerns, relationships, dog or simply aging reasons - I was not as excited as I was when I travelled to Korea for a 4 months exchange 6 years ago. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to the 50 day UK trip. First 20 days with my long old buddy touring England and Scotland. Thereafter, 30 days on my own at Cambridge. Never expected myself to go on exchange again during SMU times because o...

如果相識,不能相戀,是不是還不如擦肩。

如果相識,不能相戀,是不是還不如擦肩。 These are your last words to me. You told me you rather that we didnt meet in the first place. Coming back to blog to pen down my thoughts. My true thoughts. It has been awhile that I am able to do this. I cried the most when the song came out. Many memories inundated my mind. They will never be forgotten.

That Pilot Dream

Image
It has been sometime since I last updated. Here to pen a significant event happening tomorrow in my life. Its my 2nd round interview to a pilot job interview with group assessment. I understand I have my strengths and weaknesses during group discussion. My strength would primarily comprises of my ability to listen and make connections with occasionally some creative juice in the idea element. I always put on nice smiles to make other people feel comfortable. I tend to explore situations and possibilities deeper after hearing everyone's opinions. However, my weaknesses are that I tend to feel intimidated easily with people who I feel are more competent than me. I would try my best to overpower them. But with this gesture, I can be easily seen as an aggressive individual. This would make me score badly on the assessor's checklist. If I would say in all my interviews in my life, this would be one of the most important interview/job that I would like to ...

Re-Live the moments

While surfing some youtube videos, came across Kwang Soo Singing "Bo-Go-Ship-Da" during the concert of Running Man's Asia Tour. This song was a classic, in 2006. And for me, it was some memories for my times as a Radio DJ at HS Radio. It was one of the popular songs then, kpop was rising at that time, Full house OST was one of the most played song as well. Most importantly, bo go ship da was the first korean song I learnt and sang it live on air. Unable to let go of such youthful and burning passionate feeling, I decided its time to re-live it :) Everyone has a story, everyone has a passion burning in the heart. Its time to ignite it.

Day 2/100 Challenge

Run Run Run. Was thinking to set a distance goal for this challenge, was thinking how about 1000km. And thinking of it 1000/100, gotta run 10km everyday. Is not feasible as of my current standard now. Miss those times where I clocked 20mins for 5km. I was awesome.

100 Days Challenge - Day 1

100 days to my Christmas-Year End Taiwan Trip. Motivated to look good during the trip, I shall run once every morning (except thursday) 100 days challenge to a slimmer me!

Those poly years

Just met my poly friends today, some flashback of what happened last time. Particularly about my time as a radio dj. Miss the friendship. Miss those random skype calls Miss those impromptu DJ On-Air session. I am glad that I chose poly which allowed me to do things outside from school such as this. It was one of my important years which I really start to understand myself. Its been 3 years since graduation and 6 years since I was a year 1 poly kid. I remember I slim down in one of the year as I wanted to be in the squash school team badly and I made it! Time flies, wonder how my next 6 years will be in my life :)
