Part 1: UK & Cambridge - Day 1 & 2

Day 1 - Singapore - Dubai - London

Flight: Qatar Airlines - transit via Dubai ($1190 for 2-way)
Duration: 14 hours flight time, roughly around 7 hours each for Singapore to Dubai and then Dubai to London. Had about 2 hours of transit time but the total 16 hours was really dreadful. If given a choice again, I will definitely opt for direct flight.

It was empty because its midnight at Dubai.

Dubai has a number of shops selling jewelries and gold.

Upon arrival to London, it was about 5-6am. We were really tired so decided to freshen up ourselves with coffee. No time for sleep when you are in London.

Apart from coffee, the first thing we bought in London was SIM card which was easily available at the vending machine. Although many would say that it is cheaper to get them on the busier streets of London compared to Airport but we found similar good deals of 4GB/12GB data for 20 pounds (depending on which telco's sim card u get). However, there were some hiccups, the promised 4GB/12GB data was not activated until we called the telco for it. Many of the SIM card face promotion of free 12GB data has expired, in other words, the card is still available but no 12GB data, pay as you roam. But this was solved easily via a phone call. Dont bother asking the customer service counter because they aint have any idea how to deal with it. They would only recommend you an alternative with an enormous price.

Day 2: London.
So day 2 is the day when we started off immediately after getting our SIM card.

We started off by placing our heavy luggages at Tate Britain Museum (FOC) that opens from 10am till 6pm. (nearest tube (MRT) station = Pimlico) then walk 800m to the museum. Then we walked along the aisle of the road the directs us to Westminister (1km) thereafter.
